The Uniview EZView is a mobile surveillance client app. With this app, you can access Uniview surveillance products through a network and view live or recorded video, receive alarms, and manage cloud devices using your mobile phone. Its features include the following:
You can download EZView directly from Google Playstore by searching "EZView"
The Live View tab of the EZView app is useful for remote and mobile monitoring. This tab will be the first that the app will display every time you access EZView. In this section, we will focus on what each available function does from left to right starting from the top.
Menu: Provides ease of access to all tabs.
Devices: Takes you to the Devices Tab. This will let you add and modify devices, select which devices to display on the Live View, and more.
Live View: These frames allow you to monitor a number of videos connected to your EZView app. Tapping on the blank frames will allow you to choose which device to display. The selected camera will have a yellow outline.
Snapshot: Tapping this button will take a snapshot of the currently selected video and save it to your device.
Recording: Tapping this button will start recording the footage of the currently selected video, tapping on it again will stop the recording and save the footage to your device.
Display Mode: Tapping this button will show multiple display options.
Video Quality: Tapping this button will show multiple video quality options. Depending on your network you can choose between the following:
Audio Toggle: Tapping this button will enable audio-output on your device if the selected IP camera is an audio capable device. Tapping this again will disable the audio-output.
Display Settings: Tapping this button will open display sliders and options for the following:
Playback: Tapping this button will take you to the Playback tab.
Alarm Out: Opens the Alarm Output window.
PTZ: Opens the PTZ Control Panel for PTZ capable devices.
2-way Audio: Toggles the 2-way Audio feature for capable devices.
Favorites: Adds or Removes the view from the Favorites list.
Close All: Tapping this button closes all the live view footage. Tapping on it again resumes it.

Timeline: The red line at the middle indicates the current time being displayed on the playback. To navigate the timeline, you may do the following:
Live View: Tapping this will take you back to the Live View feed.
Split: Tapping this will open the split window where you can simultaneously monitor 4 or 9 parts of the footage of a specified time. Useful for figuring out when an event you are looking for has occurred or for compare scene changes.
Pause/Play: Toggles the playback.
Speed: Determines the playback speed.
Close All: Tapping this button closes all the playback videos. Tapping on it again resumes it.
The Devices tab of the EZView app is useful for adding, organizing, and editing all your security devices. In this section, we will focus on what each available function does from left to right starting from the top.
Menu: Provides ease of access to all tabs.
Search: Allows you to search for a device name.
Account Options: Shows EZCloud account options.
Add: Opens the Add Device window.
List of Devices: This section shows all the devices added to your EZView app.
This tab shows all the saved snapshots and footage on your device. In this section, we will focus on what each available function does from left to right starting from the top.
Menu: Provides ease of access to all tabs.
Manage: Tapping this will allow you to manage the snapshots and footage on your device.
Media: Tapping on a snapshot or video footage will let you view and manage it.
Time: Tapping this will sort your media according to the time they are saved.
Picture: Tapping this will show only snapshots saved on this device.
Video: Tapping this will show only video footage saved on this device.
Favorites allow custom names for cameras and devices and act as a shortcut or bookmark to take you to their Live video footage in one tap. This tab allows you to manage and add favorites. In this section, we will focus on what each available function does from left to right starting from the top.

Add: Allows you to name and specify a camera to be added to the list.
Favorites: Lists all favorited cameras for quick and easy access. Tapping on any will yield the following options.
The Alarm Notifications tab shows all alerts from all added devices. It contains details such as device name, date, type of alarm, and more. In this section, we will focus on what each available function does from left to right starting from the top.

Manage: Tapping this will allow you to manage the alerts and notifications with the following operations:
Device Filter: Tapping this displays a dropdown where you can select which devices to include in the Alarm Notification list.
Event Type Filter: Tapping this displays a dropdown where you can select which Event Type to include in the Alarm Notification list.
Time Filter: Tapping this displays a dropdown where you can select which Time Range to include in the Alarm Notification list.
Alarm Notifications: This list shows all alarm notifications detected on all devices. Clicking the Playback button will show you the recorded footage of the event and the Live View button will show you to the live feed.
Allow Notifications: This will show a list of devices and allow you to toggle which device can create a notification on your smartphone.
The Local Configuration tab lets you modify the EZView app to your preference. It allows you to determine security options to access the app, units of temperature, and more. In this section, we will focus on what each available function does from left to right starting from the top.
Snapshot Mode: Determines how many snapshots to take when on snapshot mode.
PTZ Speed: Determines the speed of the PTZ panel in controlling the device.
Use Device Time Zone: Toggles whether the notifications and playback use your smartphone time or that of the NVR/Camera. Disable to use your smartphone timezone.
Temperature Unit: Toggles the unit of temperature between °C or °F.
Password Protection: Provide security options to prevent unauthorized app access. PIN and Pattern options can be setup.
Do Not Disturb: Determines the behavior of alerts and notifications when the smartphone is in Do Not Disturb mode.
Pause Video Automatically: Toggles the feature on or off.
Auto Discover New Devices: Toggles the feature on or off. Detects new devices found on the network.
Auto Detect Device Upgrade: Toggles the feature on or off. Monitors device versions and the latest released version on the Uniview servers. Notifies for updates.
Device Wi-Fi Configuration: Allows modifying or updating which network to connect to and what password to use.
Forget Device Password: Allows recovery of forgotten passwords for connected devices.
Data Usage: Displays the amount of data consumed by the app.
The Remote Configuration tab lets you modify the connected devices remotely. It has very limited options which include restarting the device, scheduling, and time options.
